Tui Group Newsletter – December 2016

chritmsa-2016We warmly welcome our new tamariki; Harvey Lofthouse, Billie Jean Howard and Harrison Riddell to the Tui Group.  It is a pleasure to have you with us and we look forward to getting to know you and your whanau.

Tui Group Programme Planning
Over the past couple of months our focus has been on sustainability and conservation which we have been exploring through art, song, stories and ICT.

We are currently getting into the festive spirit and have been making Christmas decorations with the children.  Our tamariki and kaiako have been doing some amazing activities including colouring Christmas trees,  wrapping Christmas presents, baking a delicious gingerbread house, making salt dough decorations, creating father Christmas costumes, Christmas face painting, and making a sleigh.

Warm Reminders.

Please make sure your tamariki has their own named sun hat. We do not encourage sharing sunhats because of head lice.

Please sun block your tamariki before leaving in the morning.

Please take your tamariki drink bottle home to wash and be ready for the next day.

Our Christmas party will be on the Friday 4th December from  2.30pm- 4pm. Children who are not booked in on Friday are most welcome to join us but please stay with your child during the party.
Our tamariki have had a fantastic year of learning, excursions, and creative activities what an amazing  journey we have all had together. Thank you to all our families and whanau for your ongoing support and for your great contribution over the year.

We wish  all our  families and whanau a great safe Christmas and a Happy New Year. Nga Mihi o te Kirihimete me te Tau Hou.

Arohanui from Sa, Sam, Leonte, Natalie and  Meg.
